Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

MBSR Programme

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is considered the gold standard in secular mindfulness training.

By developing body and breath awareness, mindfulness has been found to have several health and wellbeing benefits, when practised regularly.
In the UK, NHS Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) recognises mindfulness in promoting mental wellbeing.

What does it entail?

The 8-week programme is designed to help you embed mindfulness in your everyday life. Learning will combine experiential practice, group discussion and reflection. Online sessions, lasting 2 hours, are held once a week.

To experience the full benefits of the programme, you will need to commit 30 minutes of independent mindfulness practise each day and undertake mini homework assignments.  To support you in doing this, you will receive four recorded guided meditations and weekly handouts.

Course start dates
